Biography
Gregory grew up in Syracuse, New York near the Great Lakes where he played lacrosse and rowed crew. He attended Arizona State University where he completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Justice Studies and a minor in Political Science, and where he was a founding Vice President of WakeDevils. He also led groups of ASU students rock climbing with the ASU Outdoors Club, was an outdoor climbing guide, and taught climbing classes at Phoenix Rock Gym.
Since moving to Las Vegas in 2013, he has taught classes at Red Rock Climbing Center and volunteered his legal services to the Las Vegas Climber’s Liaison Counsel and participated on its Board of Directors, and volunteered time cleaning up our local trails and guiding hikes in Red Rock during the Red Rock Rendezvous. He has been an avid rock climber, mountain biker, fly fisherman, and snowboarder for many years. He is now a member of several local outdoors community non-profit groups including Southern Nevada Climbers Coalition, Access Fund, Southern Nevada Mountain Bike Association and the International Mountain Bicycling Association. When he is not in court, he can be found in the Spring Mountains with his wife Lana, and their herding dogs Sage, Juniper, Shorty, and Bean.

As a former insurance defense attorney for one of the premier defense trial firms in Las Vegas, Gregory defended arbitrations and jury trials for the insurance companies, and he learned how the insurance companies value claims and defend cases. Accolades
While completing his law degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, Gregory represented indigent clients in adult felony and juvenile delinquency matters for the various branches of the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. He was also the Treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta and its Communications Director, a volunteer for the Public Interest Law Foundation, and he graduated with Cum Laude honors.
