Lina Oraha



Lina Oraha was born in Baghdad, Iraq; however, Las Vegas has been home to her for the past 20+ years. Lina attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.

Subsequently, Lina attended the William S. Boyd School of Law. In addition to attending law school full time, Lina worked full time for the Las Vegas Justice Court while maintaining externships with the Henderson City Attorney’s office and the Clark County District Attorney’s office. In Lina’s third year of law school, she was selected as the recipient of the Eglet-Adams law scholarship and internship. Lina earned her Juris Doctorate degree from William S. Boyd School of Law in May 2020 and passed the 2020 summer Nevada Bar exam.

Upon graduating from law school, Lina worked as a law clerk to the Hon. Trevor Atkin of the Eighth Judicial District Court. After completing her judicial clerkship with Judge Atkin, Lina worked as the first law clerk to the Hon. Carli Kierny of the Eighth Judicial District Court. Following her judicial clerkships, Lina worked as a Deputy Public Defender practicing Criminal Law. Lina represented indigent clients while handling all types of criminal offenses, ranging from minor misdemeanors to serious felonies.

In her free time, Lina enjoys partaking in outdoor activities, traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with family, loved ones, and her three-legged beagle, Jasper.


Today, Lina practices in the area of personal injury. Lina is passionate about helping people who have fallen on hard times. She has always gotten great satisfaction from helping others. Lina takes this passion and puts it to work every day as she uses the tools of the law to achieve just, righteous outcomes for her clients.
