Biography
A native of Puebla, Mexico, Valentina has called Las Vegas home since 1999. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and received her Juris Doctorate degree at William S. Boyd School of Law while working full time.
During her time in law school, Valentina was involved in various leadership positions and participated in National Moot Court Competitions. She was also a research assistant in the UNLV Immigration Clinic.
Valentina has been working in the legal field for over ten years. She has experience working in Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Civil Litigation. Her work in the legal profession and passion for helping others motivated her to attend law school.
Valentina is passionate about building a better tomorrow and is very involved in her local community. She participates in panels and mentors’ others to become Law Students. In addition, Valentina is the Chair of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Law Student Division at a national level. As Chair, she oversees activities and programs that center around skill development, job placement, and networking for law students across the country.
During her free time, Valentina enjoys traveling, concerts, and spending time outdoors.
