Biography
Born and raised in East Las Vegas, Nevada, Alexander is a proud first-generation college and law school graduate who has dedicated his career to empowering his community through the law. Inspired by the passion and resilience of the people around him, he knew from a young age that he wanted to become an attorney to advocate for others and help create meaningful change.
Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy and a concentration in Law & Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He then attended the William S. Boyd School of Law, where his commitment to service and community engagement defined his time as a student.
During law school, Alexander made it his mission to expand opportunity for Latino students across Nevada. He developed and led statewide programs that opened doors to the legal profession, giving students the chance to see the law in action and imagine themselves as part of it. The experience deepened his belief in the power of community and representation within the practice of law.
As a student attorney in the UNLV Immigration Clinic, Alexander represented clients facing complex and deeply personal legal challenges. It was there that he learned the profound importance of honoring each client’s story: understanding that a person’s story is everything. It grounds the law, moves decision-makers, and drives real change. This lesson continues to shape his approach to advocacy and client representation today.
His dedication throughout law school earned him the Dean’s Award for outstanding service to the law school and the Nevada community, as well as Highest Pro Bono Honors for completing over 100 hours of public service during his law school career.
After graduating, Alexander passed the Nevada Bar Exam at the age of 23 and joined Bighorn Law as an Associate Attorney. Today, he continues his mission of service by representing clients with diligence, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to justice. Alexander is proud to serve clients in both English and Spanish.
Outside the office, Alexander enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and spending time with his family.
