Biography

Alvin Jones’s life and career has been marked by a relentless pursuit of justice, a passion for diverse cultures, and a deep commitment to serving others. His journey has taken him across all 50 US states, Mexico, Canada, China, and the Middle East.

Alvin’s adventurous spirit and desire to serve were evident early on. After the 9-11 tragedy, he joined the US Army, where he studied Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and Korean, and worked as an Intelligence Analyst and later deployed to Mosul and Baghdad, Iraq.

Following his military service, Alvin graduated with a BA in Chinese Language and Literature from Brigham Young University (BYU), then transitioned into the Intelligence Community, where he utilized his language skills and strategic acumen. His work in this field further solidified his resolve to pursue a career in law, driven by a desire to advocate for justice and equity.

Alvin’s legal education at Washburn Law School, renowned for its connection to the historic Brown vs. Board of Education civil rights case, was marked by excellence and dedication. He was selected for the prestigious Legal Aid Clinic, where he provided crucial legal assistance to those in need. His exceptional skills in the courtroom were recognized with the Trial Advocacy Award, underscoring his ability to effectively represent and fight for his clients.

Throughout his career, Alvin has been passionate about people and seeking justice. His wide range of interests and experiences are reflected in his ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life, and approach each case with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of different cultures and backgrounds.
