Breann is a litigator from Colorado who specializes in personal injury, civil rights, and mass torts litigation. A 7th-generation Coloradan, Ms. Plasters obtained her Juris Doctorate from The University of Denver School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Colorado State University.
A fierce and passionate litigator, Breann is both fearless and practical. She empathizes deeply with her clients and meticulously edits case filings and other documents. Her keen insight into the nuances of contentious legal battles and the personality traits of parties, witnesses, and opposing counsel allows her to pick up on issues others may miss. Breann is able to synthesize and explain even complex legal issues to clients and fundamentally believes in the value of client-participation in legal proceedings.
In 2019, Breann brought a wrongful death case against the State of Colorado, and after nearly two years of litigation, was able to successfully expand the ability of wrongful death plaintiffs to overcome qualified immunity and file suit.
Breann’s passion is bringing justice to those who need it the most. When she isn’t working, Breann loves hiking the Colorado peaks with her dogs Harley and Luka and working on her never-ending novel.
