BIOGRAPHY

Dan was raised in Roseburg, Oregon—a small logging town along the Umpqua River. Dan is a 2004 graduate of Brigham Young University, with a BA Degree in Journalism and a 2007 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law.

Dan interned in the Kings County (Brooklyn) New York District Attorney’s Office. Shortly after deciding that he would be practicing law in New York, he met his wife, Wendy, and instead moved to Utah.

Dan is licensed to practice law in Utah, New Mexico, and New York. Prior to joining Bighorn Law in 2015, Dan managed the State of Utah’s Fair Housing Unit. His duties included supervising investigations which resulted in over a million dollars in judgments for marginalized groups in Utah. Dan works extensively in Bighorn Law’s Litigation and Appellate Departments and he is dedicated to protecting Bighorn’s clients.

In his spare time, Dan is an avid sports fan and a collector of vintage baseball cards. Dan is also active in his church community, but what he enjoys most is spending time with his wife and two children.
