Biography

Edvin graduated with a 4.0 GPA and honors in Electronics Engineering from his undergraduate studies. He attended the University of Nevada, Boyd School of Law, where he not only acquired his JD with honors but also made the Dean’s List upon graduation. During his law school years, Edvin received multiple CALI Awards for excellence, participated in mediation clinics where he received a mediation certificate, and took courses in bankruptcy and accounting.

His professional journey includes significant experiences at the federal court with the Honorable Judge James C. Mahan, and at the state court with Judge Nancy L. Allf. Edvin served as a summer associate attorney at Murchison & Cumming, focusing on insurance defense, before joining Bighorn in May 2024. He has also contributed pro bono at the Legal Aid Center, assisting with bankruptcy issues.

Having moved to the United States as a refugee, Edvin remains deeply committed to assisting those in similar situations. He actively manages refugee claims in Turkey and the United States, offering most of his immigration services on a pro bono basis. At Bighorn, Edvin’s extensive background and ongoing commitment to justice highlight his dedication to advocacy and equal rights for all, particularly for those who are underrepresented.
