Biography
Mark Rouse was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended Transylvania University in Lexington, for his undergraduate studies, where he was a NCAA Div. III cross country athlete and selected by his peers to be the Class of 2007 graduation speaker.
Subsequently, Mark attended the University of Kentucky, College of Law in Lexington. In his first year of law school, Mark was selected as one of the Top 5 competitors in the law school’s first year students’ mock trial competition. During his law school career, Mark received the CALI award for Capital Punishment, awarded for the highest grade in the class, and served as the Production Editor of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture & Natural Resources Law.
After graduating from law school in 2010, Mark moved to Las Vegas to work as the first law clerk to the Hon. Nancy Allf of the Eighth Judicial District Court. During his clerkship, Mark successfully passed three bar exams in two years. Mark is now licensed to practice law in Arizona, California, Kentucky and Nevada.
In his first year of practice, Mark tried three civil jury trials to a verdict. Since then, Mark has successfully represented personal injury clients in arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Mark has been nominated by his colleagues as a Mountain States Super Lawyers Rising Star and Nevada Business Magazine, Legal Elite. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, The National Trial Lawyers, and has been selected as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff’s Attorney in Nevada.
In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, running, and rooting for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and Las Vegas Raiders.
